Three Rules for Food Shipments
- Shelf Life: Ensure all items have a shelf life of at least 30+ days from the shipment date. Fresh, wet sweets like rasmalai are not eligible for shipping.
- Packaging: Pack items in vacuum-sealed packaging or clean, food-grade plastic containers. Mark containers clearly with the name of the food item.
- Quantities: Keep food volumes within reasonable personal limits (usually under 5kg total) to avoid customs classifying the shipment as commercial import.
